**Purpose of this Role**:
Assess production requirements, demand requirements, material on hand availability and inbound material shipments. Define quantity of materials to be purchased or product. Ultimately ensure materials are procured and available timeously to meet production or sales demand.

**Span of control**:
This position is responsible for sourcing of finished goods, raw materials and packaging within compliance of the Belgotex procurement standards, from the correct suppliers by attaining quotes from Preferred suppliers and adhering to the Belgotex quality standards.

**Key Accountabilities and Outputs**:

- **Demand Planning**:Forecast and analyze demand to ensure accurate production planning.
- **Inventory Management**:Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- **Procurement**:Source and procure raw materials and packaging in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- **Supplier coordination**:Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- **Logistic Management**:Coordinate and manage the transportation and deliveries of materials and finished products to ensure smooth operations.
- National Senior certificate / Matric with Maths/Literacy and English.
- A bachelor’s degree in business or logistics is advantageous.
- A minimum of 12 months Belgotex supply chain work experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 finance and operations experience is essential.
- MRP exposure in other ERP solutions will be considered.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word) is essential.
- Power BI development experience is advantageous.
