**Investment Administrator**: The role is responsible to increase the number of clients, number of investment accounts and assets under management, in a range of products & portfolios catering for various investment needs, by providing excellent service, and doing so as efficiently as possible while managing risk.
Key Outcome
Daily Business Checking and Authorizing (LISP and Offshore)
- Responsible for loading, checking and authorizing exception transactions on a daily basis, ensure 100% accuracy to avoid immediate profit & loss exposure - LISP & Offshore
- Responsible for sending instruction files to the market - LISP & Offshore
- Accountable for signing all daily business checks, controls, and checklists compiled

Unit Prices Loading
- Responsible for sourcing prices on daily basis, the prices are required to process all trades transacted the previous day with the various asset managers.
- Responsible for performing a parallel price check as well as 2nd check of all prices before upload is completed
- LISP and Global platforms
- Accountable for uploading the prices into the system as per pricing procedure - LISP and Global platforms
- Responsible for checking the Currency Exchange Rates on daily basis, required for conversion of global trades

Asset Swaps
- Checking documents saved on CRM and loading asset swap on an Excel Macro
- Responding to queries on asset swaps allocated
- Monitoring mailbox and assigning new asset swaps to team

Distributions / Dividends Uploading
- Responsible for sourcing distributions monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually - LISP
- Responsible for uploading the distributions into line-of-business system

- Responsible for performing distributions checks and reconciliations as per internal procedures

- Responsible for ensuring that distributions are loaded accurately on AF Global Platform - Offshore

Reconciliations
- Responsible for reconciling transactions captured on the line-of
- business system by internal member administration teams against transacted in the market as confirmed by Investment Managers
- Identify differences picked up from the recons performed and resolve
- Responsible for bringing down the recon to zero differences
- Compile an Asset & Liability Report then do a comparison between client assets and Management Company assets on the AF Global Platform - Offshore

What will you do continued
Calculations
- Perform calculations of profit and losses on correction transactions performed in the team

Queries
- Resolve allocated queries and provide feedback within 24 hours of receiving them

Reporting and Projects
- Responsible for Assets vs. Liabilities (AvL) Reporting & Special Projects
- Ensure that the monthly AvL Report and IS Report (incl KI Report) are prepared by collating data from Investment/Asset Managers and ensuring that the reports are delivered within the set and agreed deadline
- Responsible and accountable to executing allocated projects. Ensure that there is a project plan, relevant stakeholders are engaged, the relevant documents are completed appropriately and approval for the project is obtained timeously

General /Adhoc
- Responsible to timeously and accurately perform tasks and duties as delegated by Manager, Senior Manager, Executives and other seniors in the organization

What will make you successful in this role?
Qualifications and experience (minimum requirements?)
- Grade 12 with Maths
- Having achieved or studying towards a relevant Degree/ Tertiary Qualification and/or Post Graduate qualification advantageous not compulsory
- 4 years administration experience
