**PRIMARY SCOPE**
Reporting to the Finance Manager.
Responsible for the maintenance of HR Practices, i.e.,
Administration; Recruitment & Selection; Training & Development; Industrial Relations; Employee well-being
Providing support to Management, Supervisors and employees.
Implement decision or directives from the Senior Management
Managing Disciplinary process and policies
**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**
**Maintain and improve existing HR administration systems, including**:
Facilitating the Recruitment & Selection process.
HR Files (all HR filing), Terminations, Engagements, Employment contracts;
Produce HR reports;
Coordinate EE, WSP, ATR, Progress Reports, Plant Communications and Notice Boards;
Preparing and facilitating the signing of contracts and update all personal records.
Review existing employee records and bring up to standard.
**Training and Development**:
Advise and administer company training & development plan;
Administer and coordinate training initiatives;
Liaise with MERSETA and coordinate apprenticeships, submission of WSP and ATR annually;
**Industrial Relation issues**:
Provide support to Managers/foremen/ supervisors and employees on employee relation issues such as company policy matters.
bargaining council (MEIBC); and
- Arrange and attend disciplinary hearings as required;
Prepare minutes of meetings;
Liaise with the trade unions
**Manage employee well-being issues, including**:
Facilitate the implementation of an EWP;
Medical aid provident/pension fund related queries;
Liaise closely with the OHP on health/social problems and advise on employee well-being issues;
Attend quarterly Provident Fund meetings
