**Key Responsibilities**:
OK Foods at Elto-towers is looking for a Fruit and Veg/Perishables Supervisor
- Managing the Fruit and Vegetables Department
- Responsible for the smooth running of the department
- Order processes, estimates of the amounts and frequencies of the required products
- Responsible for leadership of the staff
- Organisation and controlling of inventory
- Responsibility for the freshness and the variety of the assortment
- Perfect presentation of goods
- Purchase fresh fruits and vegetables every morning from different wholesalers

**Knowledge Base**:

- Experience from Retail in vegetables and fruits essential
- Good knowledge of fruits and vegetables
- Attitude to learn product range of the specific department

**Minimum Requirements**
- Must have minimum 3 years’ experience
- Must reside in the area
- Must be proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Must have reliable transport
- Must have sober habits
- Must be able to work shifts from 05h00 till 22h00
- Must have knowledge of both categories
- Must look presentable and be punctual
- Must have experience in stocktaking and ordering
- Must be able to make deals and know market related pricing of product.

**Salary**: From R7,900.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kuils River, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervisory (required)
