**Job Overview**:
The Merchandiser will be in charge of creating fruit and veg layouts. Merchandisers will also need to merchandise all stock on the shelves provided and check the quality and sell-by dates on a regular basis. The merchandiser may also need to help customers daily.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining excellent store presentation by maintaining fully stocked displays. Quality control, which involves management of stock by stringently ensuring stock, is rotated and kept fresh
- Food safety & hygiene practices that are implemented in store as per health and safety regulations.
- Ask customers about their needs and help them in making purchases
- Escort customers to the appropriate aisle or shelve in order to assist with purchasing decisions
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure the store is clean, safe and in order
- Keep shelves fully stocked with fresh products
- Prepare store displays and ensure that products are accurately labelled
- Discard expired items and place near expiry items on special promotion

**Requirements**:

- 1 Year Proven work experience as a Fruit and Veg Merchandiser
