**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- BBBEE (Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment) and Localization Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing two main areas within a company: BBBEE initiatives and localization efforts.
- **BBBEE Initiatives**:

- Developing and implementing strategies to promote BBBEE within the company, focusing on empowering black individuals and communities economically
- Ensuring compliance with BBBEE legislation and regulations in all business activities
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for BBBEE initiatives, such as supplier development, skills development, and enterprise development
- Monitoring and evaluating BBBEE programs to assess their effectiveness and impact
- Reporting on BBBEE performance to management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities.
- **Localization**:

- Leading the localization strategy to adapt products, services, and content for different markets and cultural contexts
- Managing localization projects and teams, including translators, linguists, and localization engineers
- Working closely with product managers and developers to integrate localization requirements into the product development process
- Ensuring that localized content meets linguistic, cultural, and technical standards
- Utilizing localization tools and technologies to streamline the localization workflow and improve efficiency

**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:

- In-depth knowledge of BBBEE legislation, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in developing and implementing BBBEE strategies and programs
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Expertise in localization practices, including translation, cultural adaptation, and internationalization
- Familiarity with localization tools and technologies, such as CAT tools, translation management systems, and terminology databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Analytical skills to assess the impact of BBBEE initiatives and localization efforts and make data-driven decisions.
- shall be fluent in the language of English
- 5 (five) years on Railway Telecommunications or Similar Projects
