To oversee the shipment of goods to international locations, ensuring compliance with export laws and regulations. Key tasks include preparing shipping documents, coordinating freight logistics, and managing customer communications.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in export administration, international trade, or logistics
- Knowledge of export regulations, compliance, and documentation.
- Working knowledge of D365 preferred.

**Experience**:

- Preparing export/import documentation (commercial invoicing, packing list, bill of lading and the independent quality inspectorate inspection certificate).
- Confirm bookings with forwarders at origin and destination countries and arrange marine insurance.
- Handover of export/import documentation to Forwarder.
- Monitor shipments from origin to nominated warehouse/delivery address at destination.
- Uploading of all applicable files onto the Company’s portal.
- Check packing configuration and loading.
- Cross compliance against standard operating process in receipting of stock.
- Ordering and capturing/receipting of relevant stock requirements based on customer needs.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of export shipments, including documentation, compliance, and logistics.
- Ensure all international trade regulations and requirements are met.
- Communicate and collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient shipments.
- Handle any issues that arise during the export process, such as delays or customs holds.
- Maintain accurate records of all export activities and documentation.
- Provide support to sales and customer service teams to facilitate international sales.
- Stay current on changes to export regulations and requirements and communicate any updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement processes to streamline export operations.

**Experience**:

- Administrative office procedures, practices and equipment: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Relocate before starting work (required)
