One such client of mine is a Global Resourcing Company and they are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to be based at their South African Head Office in Johannesburg.

The incumbent of this position will be responsible for building high performing supply chains to enable Supply Chain teams to effectively support Operations and allowing them to achieve production targets while optimising financial costs and achieve overall Group Strategic Objectives.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Commerce or Engineering, with supply chain management, logistics or industrial engineering as specialisation
- Masters Degree/ Engineering degree preferred

**Minimum Experience**:

- Leadership level role within Supply chain management for at least 10 years
- Supply chain management activity within warehousing, logistics, inventory, and materials management for 10 to 12 years
- Significant mining environment experience
- Experience in global role, dealing with different cultures, time zone, and languages
- Experience working in a global / centralize structure, defining, and implementing global policies
