**Introduction**

As a Quality Controller (QC) within RISO, you will be one of Momentum's brand representatives. The main purpose of your role will be to accurately perform quality control and assurance of data on business systems to ensure standards are met as well as to maintain and monitor the quality assurance process.

**Role Purpose**

Your role will entail receiving, reviewing, evaluating, and approving or rejecting instructions via various servicing channels within a fast paced, pressurised servicing environment. In addition, you will be responsible for accurately processing instructions, according to our quality standards and within our turn-around time as well as to ensure that we deliver work of the highest quality and that we continuously increase the client experience.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years practical and relevant experience, within the Investment, Insurance and Financial Services industry, with excellent administrative and innovative client servicing and support experience - experience within the local and international investment industry will be an advantage.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation within the local and international insurance and investment industry, i.e., GDPR, POPIA, TCF, FICAA, KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS, GTR, FAIS, LTA, etc. will be an advantage.
- Grade 12 or equivalent with Maths and/or Accounting.
- Com Finance/Investments or related degree or tertiary qualifications will be an advantage.
- Momentum Wealth local, Annuities, Momentum Wealth International and Momentum Collective Investments products, processes, procedures, and systems knowledge will be an advantage.
- Gemstone and AWD or BPM knowledge will be an advantage.
- Dual-screen navigation and typing skills at an advanced level
- Excellent computer skills, with the ability to learn and understand new systems quickly and with confidence.
- Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams) at an intermediate level.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Internal**
- Provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control environment for operational processes and procedures.
- Assess the quality of data captured on business systems against quality standards to ensure correctness of data.
- Identify, report on, and monitor process and system improvements required.
- Identify any possible gaps, risks or training requirements for internal processes and procedures and engage with the relevant stakeholders to compile action plans.
- Collate information regarding quality assurance and adherence to standard operating procedures to obtain a holistic view of the operational environment.
- Report on areas of opportunity and risk within the team(s), make recommendations to close identified gaps and own the process of incorporating these recommendations.
- In conjunction with the line manager, provide the team with constructive feedback regarding quality assurance assessments.
- Provide feedback and coaching to team members to achieve desired quality levels.
- Implement quality assurance processes, standards, and requirements to ensure that enhanced quality of the operational environment is monitored and maintained.
- Consistently demonstrate attributes of leadership and accountability to improve team collaboration and upskilling via shared initiatives.

**Client**
