- FAIS Affected**Job Purpose**
- To coordinate, drive and perform various regulatory and compliance related operational processes within the business unit in accordance policies and procedures as required; in line with Nedbank strategy and guidelines**Responsibilities**:

- Interact with key Nedbank Group functions pertaining to money laundering, terrorist financing, FATCA, CRS, etc. to understand alignment and compliance to regulatory requirements set by the various regulatory bodies, in line with Nedbank’s guidelines
- Follow up on identified risks, alerts and corrective action to be taken by business unit within specified timeframe through meetings and/or electronic medium to ensure that regulatory requirements are met
- Meet client and stakeholder needs by adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Set-up and monitor dashboards in CRM to aid management and monitoring of service levels where possible, and manage escalations where required
- In line with Nedbank requirements, test systems and reports for regulatory reporting compliance and monitoring.
- Maintain high standards of business ethics by adhering to Codes of conduct, policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, client limits.
- Manage risks by reporting and / or escalating any identified risks timeously
- Provide or give input into training sessions and/or share knowledge of identified risks and processes with team and stakeholders during formal and informal interaction so that relevant upskilling takes place across the business unit
- Keep abreast of legislation and other industry changes that impacts on role by reading the relevant newsletters, websites and attending workshops & webinars.
- Identify opportunities to improve or enhance processes by identifying and recommending improvements to tools, policies and procedures to add value to Nedbank.
- Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.
- Ensure personal growth and enable effectiveness in performance of roles and responsibilities by ensuring all learning activities are completed, experience practiced and certifications obtained and/or maintained within specified time frames.
- Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).
- Understand and embrace the Nedbank Vision and Values by demonstrating the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Preferred Qualification- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance certificate/diploma**Minimum Experience Level**
