**purpose**:
- To assist in identifying, defining and maintaining the information security policy and base line standards for FNB**experience and qualifications**:
- Grade 12
- BCom Informatics / BSc or CISSP / CISA is an advantage
- 3-5 years working experience**additional requirements**:
- Technical Skills and Requirements - Have a successful track of managing IAM engineering operations with proven history of designing and developing IAM projects. - A solid understanding of IAM concepts and principles - Knowledge of key IAM standards - Knowledge on Active Directory and Zero Trust access architectural principles - Through knowledge of identity administration across different Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, AIX, Windows, etc), Data bases (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL, etc), and Applications - Proficiency in technical report writing and presentation Work Experience - A minimum of 5 years working experience within the IAM domain - Proven track record of IAM operations and delivery experience and understanding of business processes related to IT change management - Experience and exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) - Experience with Role Based Access Control (RBAC) principles - Experience with IAM principles - Experience in Programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript and SQL) - Experience in APIs within the IAM context Qualifications - Qualifications in the following fields of study (Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology/Science, and Software Development) will be advantageous - Accreditations in one or more of these will be advantageous (Security+, MCSA, Network+ etc.) - SailPoint, Savyint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or similar product certifications or hands-on experience
**responsibilities**:
- Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
- Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing expert advice and consulting on all aspects of IT security
- Support IT Security leaders to participate in the FirstRand Bank Information Risk awareness program and to ensure that FNB staff are aware of information security risks
- Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees and to ensure that appropriate standards of conduct are established and complied with.
- Comply, understand and implement all steps for the IT Information Security Processes and Procedures and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements
- Assist in identifying, defining and maintaining the information security policy and base line standards for FNB
- Assist and administer the implementation of control mechanisms, which enables Information Security Services to have a view of the status of information security within FNB.
- Ensure all Information Security analysis and research are captured, recorded and reported on to ensure correct actions are implementation are executed
- Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and employees and to ensure that appropriate standards of conduct are established and complied with.
- Manage own development to increase own competencies
- Maintain current knowledge of the Information Systems security industry's emerging technologies
