Bookkeeper with Xero Software Experience

We are an established Property Management Company based in Bloubergstrand. We successfully manage a large property portfolio of short-term holiday rentals.

We would like to hire a full-time Bookkeeper to join our very youthful team in assistance us in running the set of books for the various companies within the group. This is a challenging job that will reward an individual who is self-motivated and hardworking. You will be working with a bespoke accounting program.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant accounting function role
- Experience in Xero is a requirement.
- Advanced MS Excel and Word skills
- Proven experience in running all facets of the financial department - Creditors, Debtors, Budget Process, Financial Statements, Audits, Financial Analysis, Monthly Reporting
- Experience with VAT Returns
- Experience with Reconciliations
- Highly accurate & focused, with good attention to detail
- Able to work well under high-pressure situations due to month-end reporting
- Willing to work additional hours over month-end
- Understanding of the accommodation sector will be advantageous.
