**Minimum Requirements**:
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a Dealer Principal or General Manager role.
- Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz products, services, and dealership operations would be preferable and advantageous
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to analyse financial data and make strategic decisions towards success.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
- Familiarity with automotive dealership software and CRM systems.
- A commitment to upholding ethical, professional and legal standards in all business activities.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Management**:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the dealership team.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, a focus on luxury customer experience.
- Set performance targets and KPIs for each department within the dealership.
- Develop and mentor department managers and staff.
- Strategic alignment with key professional networks and the dealer network.
- **Financial Management**:
- Monitor and analyse financial statements and performance metrics regularly.
- Along with the Financial Manager, implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies.
- Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to optimise costs.
- **Sales and Marketing**:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and market share.
- Monitor and adjust pricing, promotions, and inventory levels as needed.
- Oversee advertising and marketing campaigns to drive customer traffic and brand recognition.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer representatives.
- **Customer Satisfaction**:
- Ensure exceptional luxury customer service at all touchpoints within the dealership.
- Address customer concerns and resolve escalated issues promptly.
- Promote customer loyalty and retention through effective CRM strategies.
- **Compliance and Legal**:
- Ensure the dealership operates in compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and manufacturing standards.
- Uphold the manufacturers standards and guidelines for dealership operations.
- Oversee vehicle inventory management and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- **Facility and Resource Management**:
- Oversee facility maintenance and improvements.
- Manage dealership resources efficiently, including personnel, equipment, and technology.
- Implement environmentally responsible practices in line with sustainability initiatives.
