A global provide in the Healthcare sector has an amazing career opportunity for a **Financial Analyst** to join their team in **Cape Town**. You will perform financial and investment analyses for private healthcare facility projects. Your key **job** responsibilities as the **Financial Analyst** in **Cape Town** will include:

- Develop business plans and financial models using, inter alia, market data and internal cost estimations for new private healthcare facility project opportunities
- Work in close cooperation with other team members including the functional and clinical planners to understand in detail the requirements for a business plan and determine what are the best and most suitable business plan assumptions
- Conduct scenario analyses based on macro
- and microeconomic factors in order to assess project risks and opportunities
- Identify key financial and non-financial risks and recommend actions for mitigation
- Assess the economic standing of project stakeholders
- Ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting of the company’s existing project portfolio
- Develop new transaction models and enhance existing tools
- Assist in the (pre)assessment of project opportunities
- Build business cases and conduct financial analyses, optimisations and valuations, and determine key KPIs that are relevant for private healthcare facility transactions
- Develop presentation outputs and ensure accuracy of financial forecasts including economic results and expected investment returns to help attract suitable investors
- Preparation of internal calculations for Board approval for selected projects
- Conduct research of current economic and market environment for private healthcare facilities

Requirements for this **Financial Analyst job** in **Cape Town**:

- University Degree in Business Administration or Economics. A Chartered Financial Analyst Designation is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable position in banking, private equity, management consulting, financial advisory or accounting
- A healthcare facility background with a particular focus on private markets is a strong plus
- Excellent analytical skills, with a focus on financial modelling and business optimization
- Knowledge of project finance structures including documentation and transaction execution
- Proficient with market standard return on investment analysis (IRR, NPV, etc.)
