**Platinum**

**Job Description**:

- As a Principal Technology, you will be leading the technology deployment agenda towards generating a sustainable and profitable business
- Leads the planning phase of the Technology programme for Anglo American Platinum
- Identify risks and gaps and manage accordingly to ensure mínimal impact on the successful execution of the program
- Promotes the effective protection of Platinum Technology based IP by contributing to IP related policies, risk management systems and processes
- Manages the relevant Company IP technology-based activities associated with the defined technology strategy
- Oversees project portfolio for funding review and ensures alignment to business needs
- Reviews compliance to projects requirements and budgets
- Convenes and facilitates Technology development and deployment committees
- Manage third party contributions to the projects / program to ensure standards are maintained and programme plan adherence
- Report programme progress as and when required to relevant stakeholders to enable timely decision-making

**This role is at our corporate office in Rosebank, at a Band 5 level reporting to the to the Head of Business Improvement.**
- Qualifications
- Undergraduate/Postgraduate degree in Mining and/Metallurgy
- Project management qualification advantageous

**Knowledge & Skills required**:

- 8 Years’ experience in programme management of large projects within mining or Construction or Engineering essential
- Knowledge of the PGM-industry advantageous
- Advanced levels of proficiency in developing and implementing integrated solutions to maximize value and ensure productivity, a safe and sustainable working environment and delivery against plans
- Experience in deployment of technology on a large scale
- Advanced data analysis and management for decision-making
- Advanced management of work packages across a portfolio of project activities
- Proficient with Technology and innovation in the mining environment
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in organising, change management and coordinating skills
