RPO Recruitment’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Safety Officer in Mpumalanga

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Safety inspection, audits and risk initiatives.
- Implement and ensure maintenance of safety systems, standards and procedures.
- Safety audit report and safety inspection reports.
- Incidents investigations, inquiries and accidents / incidents reports
- Legal compliance audits, audits reports and analysis reports.
- Accidents control register and Safety statistics database
- Monitoring of emergency preparedness programmes.

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Engineering Trade certificate.
- Diploma in Safety Management
- 7 year’s mining or plant experience as an Artisan/ Foreman.
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSASA18001.
