S5 Core Description
- Contribute to the development of the learning strategy, frameworks, and tools, and recommend improved approaches to Learning and Development activities to ensure relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services to business.
- Monitor local and international market trends and provide insights into relevant Learning innovations and tools, to evaluate existing and select fit for purpose and cost-effective learning solutions from training institutions/ external service providers.
- Monitor and coordinate the supply and demand trajectory by ensuring the continuous availability of coaches and trainers to fulfil the needs of BCX stakeholders, in accordance with the Talent strategy and framework.
- Scope training requirements and develop Learning solutions aimed at addressing Learning and Development needs identified, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders within and outside of BCX, to implement targeted learning solutions aimed at developing the current talent pool.
- Develop basic Digital Learning Solutions and/or procure Digital eLearning Solutions, where budget is available, to provide BCX with blended learning programmes/solutions that will deliver on strategic Talent Development objectives and enhance professional development across BCX.
- Conduct an organisation-wide Talent gap analysis and analyse feedback on learner satisfaction to inform continuous improvement initiatives that ensure future learning solutions, tools or frameworks developed and delivered remain fit-for-purpose and relevant to the changing needs of both the learner and BCX.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Development and Talent Management teams to create leadership focused learning and development solutions aimed at building a competent leadership pipeline to drive the BCX business strategy forward.
- Maintain oversight of the Graduate / Internship Programme and other Learnership Programmes; undertake the necessary reporting relating to the completion of such to determine the degree of success realised.
- Oversee the enhancement and ongoing implementation of the bespoke BCX Academy to provision customised learning relating to the ICT / Telco realm, to support the amplification of cutting-edge digital skills.
- Establish and maintain enduring partnerships with the MICT SETA to avail the provision of Learning Programmes that address identified scarce skills unique to the ICT and Telco sectors.
- Gather, evaluate, and track Learning and Development analytics and associated insights, regarding all facets of the Learning and Development lifecycle and from feedback of employees’ experience, to continuously enhance Learning and Development processes.
- Maintain Learning and Development dashboards, metrics and KPI’s for tracking and actioning purposes.

Minimum 5 Years’ experience in a Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation.

If the highest qualification is grade 12, 7 Years’ experience in a Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, or Talent Management environment, within a large organisation.
