**Authorization process**
- Auth clerk must manage and coordinate the SAOC/E-auth form and direct it to various departments
- Auth clerk must send the completed SAOC/E-auth forms to the Medical aid
- Auth clerk must follow up on the process
- Check received authorization prior to start of treatment
- Responsible for re-auths or/and adjustments
- Upkeep of stats
- Upkeep of recorded data
- Prompt and accurate process
- Minimal delays for excellent private patient care
- Availability of recorded documents when needed as proof
- Smooth workflow

**Patient care and rendering of a quality service**
- Assist with telephonic queries
- Feedback to multi-disciplinary team regarding auth process
- Hands-on problem solving and assistance with any queries
- 2 Years in Medical Reception;
- Knowledge of ICD 10 coding and oncology background
