Finance Administrator

**MAIN PURPOSE**:
As the Finance Administrator you will perform a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions within the organization.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accounting and clerical support to company personnel
- Supplier invoices and monitoring supplier statements for payments
- Debt Collection
- Liaise with logistics team
- Process bills, receipts and other documents
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records, ie. Bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
- Communicate with vendors, customers and colleagues
- Ensure all documents are properly signed and distributed
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Daily, enter key data of financial transactions in database
- Monitor financial transactions
- Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
- Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
- Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Report the status of accounts and discrepancies
- Manage petty cash
- Ensure adequate stock levels at all times
- Payroll Administration - capture staff information and record hours, overtime and leave
**Qualifications**
- High School Certificate
- Relevant diploma/ degree (Advantageous)
**Knowledge and Experience**:
- 2-3 years admin and financial experience (Essential)
- Customer service Experience (Advantageous)
- Experience using Sage and/or Pastel systems
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, MS Excel, Outlook
- Hands-on experience with spread
- sheets and financial reports

- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
**Salary**: From R9 000.00 /month
