**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Negotiate with third parties within the marketing value chain to make sure we use the most cost effective tools, if we can save a little, why not?
Build, own and track the Marketing budget. As with any department, budgeting is key. Look at the whole picture and blow us away
Direct and lead the execution of the go-to-market strategy to successfully launch new products and services or updated campaigns. This is after all how we put the brand “out there”.
Establish reliable reports and dashboards representing pipeline and revenue performance.
Reporting is an important part of the bigger picture.
Develop and execute affiliate communications plans to equip affiliates for upcoming product launches and sales play campaigns. Also, ensure you build firm relationships with all stakeholders.
Work closely with the sales team to design sales acceleration programs and initiatives. If we equip them, they cannot fail.
Brand leadership. We have an excellent reputation thanks to an unwavering focus on quality, your role is to grow and tell that story to new customers.
Digital performance marketing. With your team, continuously improve ROI on digital marketing spend.
Story-telling, internal communication and PR. We do more than just sell some products to the public. You need to drive how we tell our story, effectively and to the point, to customers of all types, online and offline.
Drive the marketing and promotional calendar, for internal use as well as for supplier partnerships and promotional campaigns.
Oversee the in-house creative team to deliver highly effective static and video ads, rapidly and cost effectively.
Relevant tertiary qualification.
3+ years’ experience in relevant marketing roles, such as in e-commerce, FMCG/ consumer goods or retail.
2+ years of people leadership experience, and a proven ability to get the best out of a team of highly motivated professionals.
Proven excellence in your previous endeavours.
Strong technical knowledge of brand and marketing best practices.
Experience with digital marketing (Google, social media, etc).
A recogniser of new marketing opportunities.
Someone who can communicate effectively with all types of people, both written and verbal.
Be able to plan ahead a look at the bigger picture.
Has an unwavering attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.
Manages self and team to ensure deadlines are met.
Innovative and out-of-the box thinker.
Ability to handle conflict in a way that will ensure a positive outcome.
Evaluate data and critical information in order to make a decision based on findings.
Develop and maintain solid relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
