We are looking to hire a Storeman to join our team at LEDwise Lighting, Cape Town.

LEDwise is a well-established LED lighting manufacturer, with a fast paced work environment to meet our customers needs.

We seek to employ an organized, dependable and proactive Storeman to coordinate the store that feeds our production team in this fast paced environment.

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

- Process all incoming goods, checking their quality with a visual inspection before signing for them on delivery
- Receive and Issue goods accurately and using a stock card system as well as an MRP system for electronic record of issues and receipts
- Kit jobs as per a bill of materials/picking list
- Perform cycle counts and stock counts throughout the year
- Keep record of orders and their receipt
- Use initiative in reorganising store as required to maintain an organised and neat store
- Monitor levels of fast moving items and suggest stock orders when necessary

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET OUR CONSIDERATION
- You will have completed Matric, coupled with 2-3 plus years’ experience in stock control and stores coordination dealing with many different types of product (preference given to those from the electrical or LED industry).
- You will have experience in ensuring an organized and well-kept store, as well as proven experience ensuring stock is correct as per what was ordered or required, and providing input into quality of materials received from suppliers
- You will have good software skills on Excel and preference will be given to those who have worked on an ERP systems (QuickEasy, SAP, SYSPRO, etc)
- A valid driver’s license will be advantageous

A criminal check will be conducted and references from previous employers will be required.
