**Job Title: Website Product Lister**

Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Environment: This role is remote or office based
Location: Pietermaritzburg/remote

**Responsibilities**:
Craft engaging and accurate product descriptions by transforming basic product information into compelling copy that aligns with our brand's tone of voice.
Conduct thorough research to ensure all product details are factually correct and accurate. Communicate with suppliers when necessary to clarify product features and specifications.
Utilize Photoshop to crop and resize product images, ensuring they meet our online listing standards. Training will be provided for this aspect of the role.
Construct product listings using our online listing templates, including the setup of product options and variations to enhance customer experience.
Possess a foundational understanding of HTML to optimize product listings for display purposes. Training will be provided to enhance proficiency in this area.
Accurately insert cost prices and retail prices into product listings, as well as associated options. Pricing decisions will be provided by another department.
Allocate appropriate delivery groups to products based on size and type, ensuring accurate shipping information for customers.

**Qualifications**:
Degree in Digital Marketing or relevant field.
Proven experience in copywriting and content creation, preferably in an e-commerce or online retail environment.
Proficiency in conducting product research and verifying information from multiple sources.
Familiarity with basic image manipulation techniques using software such as Photoshop.
Basic understanding of HTML to optimize product listings for online display.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
Previous experience in online product listing or e-commerce platforms is highly advantageous.
