**Types of Contracts**: fixed term contracts ( actual contract duration periods to be confirmed at interviews )

**Main purpose of the job** To perform quality assurance activities and internal monitoring of the project per the quality management plan. To ensure that the project is being conducted in accordance with the protocol, standard operating procedures, sponsor requirements, ICH GCP, and other applicable guidelines and regulations.

**Key performance areas** Support the M&E team to submit relevant reports accurately and timeously. - Prepare internal monitoring reports and assist with completion of corrective action. - Implement and monitor quality assurance systems for reporting. - Verify accuracy and transcription of data. - Assess error trends and train staff on relevant data quality issues. - Implement effective data management systems at project sites. - Contribute to preparation of guidelines and SOPs for Data Quality Assurance. - Assist with the set up and maintenance of regulatory files at the project sites. - Effective self-management and performance ownership. - Management and supervision of Data Capturers - Manage data in compliance with POPIA.

**Required minimum education and training** Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Public Health, Health Informatics, Social Sciences, Development, Health, or similar field required. o Valid driver’s license with driving experience

**Minimum work experience** 3 years’ relevant experience in field implementation and management of M&E in HIV related programs for public, private or NGO sector

**Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities**

Matric Mathematics o Previous PEPFAR and/or HIV/TB project related M&E experience o Knowledge of South African Public Health Information Management Systems (WebDHIS, TIER.Net, EDRWeb, SyNCH) o Knowledge of statistical packages (e.g. SPSS, STATA) o Very good computer skills (MS office Package) o Excellent communication and presentation skills o Self-motivated o Able to work independently and work as part of a diverse and multi-disciplinary team o Good attention to detail o Regular travel to project sites will be required and working overtime may be required from time to time o Able to multi-task and work towards meeting deadlines o Ability to travel to supported sites o Available to commence work immediately
