An opportunity to join a high-end footwear brand as an Area Manager has become available. This role will be primarily responsible for managing and energising outlets in Johannesburg and Pretoria. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Manage and oversee multiple retail outlets in Johannesburg and Pretoria
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Provide leadership and guidance to store managers and staff to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with the marketing department to execute promotional campaigns and initiatives
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational efficiency, merchandise presentation, and adherence to company standards
- Train and develop store teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies and procedures
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment to meet customer demand
- Collaborate with the regional and national management teams to share best practices and align on business objectives
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards
- Travel regularly within the designated area to support store operations and build strong relationships with key stakeholders
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric required, tertiary qualification beneficial
- Minimum 5 years Store/Branch Manager experience, fashion industry preferred
- Managing multiple stores advantageous
- Sales-driven with proven track record
- Proficient in day-to-day store management
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- Excellent English communication skills
- Exceptional leadership and team management
- Proactive attitude and positive mindset
- Ability to work autonomously
**Salary is to be negotiated based on applicant skills, qualifications and experience**
