**Job Specification - Main purpose of Role**:
- To plan, organize, manage, and direct training activities, resources and platforms within the company locally, nationally, and virtually.- Plan, co-ordinate and facilitate both staff and customer training for face-to-face, virtual, and blended environments.
- Ensure thorough product knowledge, constantly keeping abreast of new technological developments in the company’s product range.
- Develop, maintain, and update training material, resources, and training platforms for both staff and customers.
- Continuously improve/update the company training strategy in line with industry best practices, technological advancements, and training innovation.
- Setup and manage registration forms and process learner registrations.
- LMS configuration, design, support, and maintenance, including problem solving and collaboration with providers.
- Plan, administer and facilitate customer and staff training locally, nationally, and virtually.
- Develop, revise, and update existing training content/material, exams, and practical demonstrations on an ongoing basis.
- Collaborate with Technical Experts, Product Managers, and other SMEs for the planning, development, and review of new training material.
- Upload, configure and administer training content on the company LMS.
- Respond to learner questions/comments relating to training.
- Update training schedules on all platforms, including the company website, online registration forms and LMS.
- Stay up to date with, test and make use of latest technologies/platforms for face-to-face, virtual, and blended facilitation.
- Produce monthly training reports.
- Plan, revise, and execute training strategies for short, medium, and long-term implementation.
- Develop, revise, and update training registration/sales procedures for staff assisting customers with purchasing and registering for training.
- Self-improvement through research, attending training, and/or other interventions to advance own knowledge, skills and abilities relating to your job/functions within company.
- Stocktake and management of equipment allocated to the training department.**Inherent Requirements**
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Certified/accredited Facilitator/Trainer relating to adult education, with a minimum of 3-years’ facilitation experience (minimum 5-years’ experience without certification).
- Certified/accredited Assessor relating to adult education, with a minimum of 3-years’ experience including classroom, document, and virtual assessments, for both formative and summative assessments (minimum 5-years’ experience without certification).
- Certificate in Instructional Design or similar, with a minimum of 3-years’ experience in content planning, design, implementation and review for classroom, virtual and blended environments (minimum 5-years’ experience without certification).
**2-3-years’ experience in the management of an LMS, including, but not limited to**:
- Platform/backend administration
- Front-end design, development, and implementation.
- Course creation, configuration, administration, review, and update.
- Learner registration, management, and support.
- Report exports.
- 2-3-years’ experience in virtual facilitation (live webinar / online training), demonstrated at an advanced level.
- 2-years’ experience in the creation of videos for the purpose of education, tutorials, information, etc. including scripting, voice-over, basic animation, export, edit and compression.
- 3-years’ experience in the security technology industry, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion, with a strong technical focus (5-years’ technical experience for non-security technology industries).
