Job Description

Responsibilities involve the daily management of Cash requirements and request for PoP Channel (Branch, ATMs and Cash Centre), operational maintenance and support, and proactive/preventative analysis of ATMs, Branch and Cash Centre. The Specialist will demonstrate knowledge of key business processes, products and services, within agreed areas of expertise.

Essential Functions and specifics of the Job / Responsibilities:
Branch and ATM Analysis
- Maintain Entity data (Alerts; profile set up; operational limits; calendars; etc)
- Optimisation (costs; service days; etc)
- Cash Management (excesses; outages; specials; etc.)
- iCom Compliance (branch behaviour; iCom parameters; etc.)
- Analyse poor performance branches
- Analyse special requests

CIT Confirmations:

- Ensure ALL relevant detail from ALL Authorised CIT providers are received daily
- Ensure detail received in correct format and fields
- Upload ALL relevant detail via IDM
- Upload ALL updates when and as received

Reporting:

- Branch Regional Compliance
- Emergency Cash Recordings
- Limit Validation ( iCom / Karabo)

Service Now:

- Monitor Service Now requests
- Assign relevant Branch calls to queue
- Action and resolve requests and queries within SLA
- Close and or re-assign calls as required

Helpdesk:

- Log On and ensure ‘ready status’ daily
- Answer and resolve all incoming calls within SLA

Functions:

- Liaise with CIT companies regarding delivery failures
- Source quotes and arrange CIT for Ad Hoc services due to revamps; closures; branch openings; etc.
- Capture Emergency Cash requests via ICMS / iCom
- Maintain branch Limits
- Monitor ALL resource mailboxes for requests; queries; etc.
- Liaise with PoP Operations / ROMs
- Action and Analyse WASP exceptions
- Analyse all reports (MI) for possible loopholes and possible changes and or solutions
- Record and Store ALL relevant documentation (Emergency Forms; Order numbers; Ad Hoc quotes and requests; etc.).
- Route Planning
- CIT Migration

General
- Ad Hoc presentations and training
- Ad Hoc project involvement including implementation
- Query resolution
- Backup of critical data on ad hoc basis
- Provide information for management reports and presentations
- Ad Hoc functions

Knowledge/Qualifications
- Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) ICOM;
- General branch banking experience
- Analytical; intuitive; creative; logical; practical; innovative; imaginative; paradoxical; honest; tactful; enthusiastic; persuasive
- Advanced verbal, written and numerical ability;
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated and goal orientated.
