**Role Responsibilities**:
Demonstrate a desire to learn and receive professional mentorship.

Understand client environments and build relationships with stakeholders for effective communication.

Monitor security systems, analyse logs and traffic patterns, and respond to alerts and incidents.

Continuously improve use-cases and playbooks.

Gain expertise in automating notification, response, and remediation processes.

Collaborate with senior analysts, IT teams, and stakeholders for investigations, incident management, and recommendations.

Act on intelligence feeds and participate in threat hunting activities.

Contribute to security dashboards and reporting processes.

Stay updated on the evolving cyber security landscape and share information.

Provide support for multiple customer environments concurrently.

**Relevant Qualifications / Experience**:
Pursuing an industry-standard certification such as Microsoft, CompTIA, SANS, CREST, ISC2, or similar.

Have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Demonstrate a genuine passion for security.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Exhibit strong time management abilities, along with the capability to prioritise tasks and multitask effectively.

Have basic networking knowledge.

Possess knowledge of Windows and Linux systems.

Demonstrate a good understanding of common malware types.

What you will be working on, existing knowledge of any of the following is highly advantageous:
Possess knowledge and skills in analysing network traffic.

Demonstrate a basic understanding of cloud computing, architecture, and security.

Have hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR systems.

Show proficiency in interacting with personnel from multiple organisations and building strong relationships across various business units and levels.

Exhibit a good understanding of the different stages of the Cyber Kill Chain.

Have awareness and understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.

Familiarity with Tenable products and solutions

Possess experience with Microsoft Sentinel and the Microsoft Security stack.
