**Male/female (African) 12-month contract**

**Between the AGE: 20/35 years**

**Role Description**

Ensuring ongoing and continual improving with regards to occupational health and safety

Assist with developing implementing and improving the health and safety plans programs and procedures in CGIS

Assist to ensure complaints with relevant health and safety legislation, identifying OHS-related training needs in the work place

Assisting with safety inspections and risk assessments, investing workplace accidents Reporting on OHS-related activities ;
Assisting in complaints reviews, general risk assessments and others safety assessments to support health : maintaining relevant OHS log and documentation

Assisting in the complaints of acceptable laws and regulations ; preparing applicable OHS reports as necessary

Provide assistance and advice on OHS issues

Participate in accidents investigations and root cause analysis and audits.

Assisting with incident prevention for the benefit of employees, contracts and visitors

Assisting the development and presentation of relevant OHS training to employees ,Contract workers and visitors

Observing OHS regulations were all required safety equipment encourages safe working practices corrects obvious hazards immediate or reports them to the proper personnel

Compile safety file

Maintaining positive and productive relations with managers, employees, contractor as well as our customers ; preforming other work-related tasks required.

**Skills requirements/attributes**

Must have completed 12

1Year experience (knowledge of compiling Safety file will be adventurous)

SAMTRAC(knowledge and understanding of OHS Act)

Be computer literate (word, excel ,PowerPoint )

A valid drivers license

Ability to communicate and interact with staff

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
