Exports Controller

**Overview**
Responsible for managing the Road Export Operations and activities (People, equipment, facilities and supplies) on a daily basis, in a disciplined, structured and accurate manner, within budget in order to ensure optimum distribution efficiency, service to sales, overall effectiveness and compliance to Audit requirements.
**Responsibilities**
- Accountable for supply chain planning, and execution of Export Snacks & Food to cross border customers in Sub-Sahara Africa.
- Act as a central point of reference to current and new customers placing Export orders.
- Ensure that each customer is invoiced correctly and that all export documentation are completed correctly and timeously by the relevant departments.
- Ensure the compliance of the retention policy for Pepsico. Ensure filling is done on a weekly/monthly basis
- Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor all sales and KPI activities and ensure objectives are achieved.
- Analyse, implement and manage work practices in the export function to improve compliance to Company Policy and Procedures
- Ensure Simba & Foods exports are compliant with export requirements in terms of SARS, Exchange Control and other controlling bodies.
- Continuously lead the review of Export systems and procedures to optimise and drive supply chain productivity with Feedback to the customer on a weekly basis
- Co-ordinate POS materials and samples to be loaded with orders
- Track and Trace orders/shipments until final delivery and communicate deviations to customers
- Responsible for replenishment of all Foods and Snack products to required loading plant - 3 Depots
- Review alignment of production and open orders
- Supports the Export Manager during absences
**Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 Year’s Experience in the supply chain field (preferably exports Road, Ocean and Air Freight
- Administration - Distribution / Warehousing experience
- People Management Skills
- Export/Imports Experience
- Computer literacy in Ms Office, Assagai & SAP
- Good communication skills
