**Job Description**:
Are you ready to shape the future of payments? Join our innovative iK Tribe as a Product Manager in the fast-paced Payment industry and take a leading role in driving the development and success of our iKhokha products.
**So, what will you do?**
- You will closely collaborate with Engineering, Design Leaders, risk and compliance, marketing and our support teams to drive product discovery, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and long-term vision and strategy.
- Your primary goal will be to deliver industry leading digital experiences, customer-centric solutions that drive business growth, increase and improve online sales (conversion) and enhance the user experience.
**Deal breakers**:
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) as a Product Manager, preferably in the Fintech, Payments or Retail Industry
- Proven experience (minimum 4 years) within eCommerce, digital marketing and web development
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Knowledge of e-commerce management, best practices and trends
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels
**In addition to the above, you are required to possess**:
- Product Management: Expertise in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle, including product discovery, development, and launch.
- Risk Management: Expertise in helping a cross-functional team to manage the 4 risks associated with Product Development, these being Value Risk (will they buy it), Usability Risk (will they use it), Feasibility Risk (can we build it) and Viability Risk (will it work for our business).
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technology, software development processes, and agile methodologies. Ability to work closely with Engineers to drive product development.
- User-Centric Mindset: Ability to deeply understand user needs, conduct market research, and translate insights into valuable product features and enhancements.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams, including Engineers and Design Leaders, toward shared product goals. Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of the Fintech/Payments industry, market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory requirements. Ability to align product strategies with business objectives.
- Solid understanding of how to prioritise outcomes over output. Prior OKR experience is beneficial.
- Data Analysis: Able to analyse data from various sources such as Google Analytics, sales reports & customer feedback to make informed decisions about the platforms performance and future direction. Understanding metrics such as conversion rate, acquisition cost, and lifetime value is essential.
**What would you be responsible for?**
- Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Prioritize features and create user stories based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with Design Leaders to create wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that align with user needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Design Leaders to ensure timely and successful product development and delivery.
- Define and prioritize product backlogs, working closely with Engineering teams during sprint planning and execution.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure product quality before launch.
- Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and iterate based on user insights and metrics.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, partners, and merchants.
- Communicate product updates, roadmaps, and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
- Gather feedback and incorporate stakeholder input into product planning and decision-making.
- Conduct demos, workshops, and training sessions to promote product understanding and adoption.
- Define and communicate the long-term vision and strategic direction for the product portfolio.
- Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.
- Collaborate with executives and senior leadership to align product strategies with business objectives.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, digital marketing or a related field.
