**Responsibilities**:
**Diagnosis and Repairs**:

- Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel trucks.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other truck components.
- Address and resolve complex technical problems efficiently.
- Repair breakdowns in the field.

**Routine Maintenance**:

- Execute regular preventive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Inspect and service diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

**Troubleshooting**:

- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Analyze and interpret technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose and repair problems accurately.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all repairs meet industry standards and comply with safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend proactive maintenance.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other team members, including parts and service departments, to coordinate repairs and maintain effective communication.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentice mechanics when needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: R30,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
