- Project Specialist Manager / KZN_

- Position purpose:

- This role will be required to focus on Project implementation of new Strategic business/lane expansion wins to ensure successful implementation to secure revenue growth_
- Plan, direct, control, document, and execute multiple project management activities._
- Responsible for the management of projects for internal and external customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and/or services to meet the Customer’s need within Sub Sahara Africa that align with our Strategic Strategy._
- Responsibilities
- _ Accountable for driving the appropriate pace of project timelines, maintaining momentum and focus to ensure delivering required results. Continuous monitoring of progress on initiatives is required._
- _ In conjunction with project leads and commercial finance, facilitate and influence the tracking and measurement of the benefits realisation for projects implementation._
- _ Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure effective engagement in specific projects and successful implementation_
- _ Support Organisational Excellence initiatives through relevant change management, organisational development and project management contributions_.
- _ Direct the activities of the project team, coordinating and driving the team’s efforts towards successful delivery of assigned projects_
- _ Determine resource needs, allocate resources, balance resources and tasks, and account for their effective use_
- _ Ensure integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business_

- Lean / six sigma trained (greenbelt level)
- Experience
- 3_-5 years Project management_
- _ 5 years + Supply chain management experience_
- _ Lean, Six Sigma an advantage_
- _ Four to six years’ experience in customer service and/ or sales_
- Skills and Knowledge
- Project management skills.
- Computer: Microsoft Project management an advantage
- Financial/Commercial acumen
- Display organizational and collaboration skills and the ability to influence various levels of stakeholders.
- Keeps constantly informed of business situations as they affect strategic programs and projects.
- Knowledge of the principles of transformational and cultural change in organisations.
- Analytical with attention to detail
- Personal: Strong Leadership skills & capabilities; change facilitator and operational experience
- Preferred Education

Diploma - Project Management
- Preferred Level of Work Experience

3 - 5 years
