Frameless Glass Specialist

**Position Overview**:As a Frameless Glass Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming architectural visions into reality. You will be responsible for the design, fabrication, and overseeing the installation of frameless glass elements, ensuring the highest level of quality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, technical expertise, and creativity to meet our clients' diverse and challenging demands.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design and Planning**: Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and develop detailed design plans for frameless glass installations.

**Fabrication**: Oversee the fabrication process, ensuring that glass panels and components are produced to exact specifications, and meet quality standards.

**Installation**: Lead and supervise the installation team, ensuring that frameless glass elements are installed correctly, safely, and in accordance with design plans.

**Quality Control**: Conduct thorough quality inspections at every stage of the project to ensure that finished installations meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

**Glass Cutting and Shaping**: Skillfully cut, shape, and manipulate glass as needed to create custom frameless glass solutions.

**Safety Compliance**: Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to safety regulations, and implement best practices to prevent accidents and injuries during installations.

**Material Sourcing**: Procure high-quality glass and related materials, and manage inventory to ensure timely project completion.

**Client Communication**: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

**Documentation**: Maintain detailed project records, including design plans, progress reports, and final documentation for future reference and quality control.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Frameless Glass Specialist or similar role in the glass and construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of glass fabrication techniques, including cutting, tempering, laminating, and shaping.
- Familiarity with frameless glass systems, hardware, and installation methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Safety-conscious mindset with knowledge of industry safety regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license.

**Education**:A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional vocational training or certification in glasswork or a related field is preferred.

**Job Type**: Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: R10,500.00 per month
