Hotel Reservationist

**Job Duties/Responsibilities will include**:
Manages and actions the reservation functions for the hotel ensuring all reservations are processed in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner.

Achieving customer satisfaction and room revenue goals while taking guests through the booking process.

Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, or other forms of inquiries through the property management software.

Creates and maintains reservation records and manages the reservations cycle.

Additional duties include preparing the list of expected arrivals for the front office, assisting in pre registration activities when appropriate, and processing advance reservation deposits.

This position will also manage the accommodation department to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Assist the accommodation Supervisor when needed or when on off days to oversee the housekeeping department and assist with the check-in and check-out of guests.

Matric

Proven work experience with at least 3 -4 years experience as an Accommodation Reservationist or in a similar position at a 4* or 5* property.

Must be fluent in English

Must be ready for a new challenge in life and long-term involvement in his/her future job.

Should be able to work on their own initiative and have the ability to lead and direct a team.

Must exhibit excellent knowledge of guest service.
