**Overview**

Knight Frank are looking for a highly motivated Professional Associated Valuer to join our expanding Valuation Team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious valuer looking to progress their career within a busy team environment. Development and training will be provided to help you grow and achieve your full potential in this important role. The role will give you the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience working on high profile and interesting projects.

**Responsibilities**

You will be expected to demonstrate high levels of self-management and self-motivation and be able to work under pressure within a team. You will be required to meet Knight Frank’s reporting objectives and quality standards, and must:

- Undertake independently, or assist with, completion of valuations as laid out in the International Valuation Standards with diligence and professionalism;
- Comply with Knight Frank’s internal processes, standards and protocols (IT and other);
- Maintain orderly electronic file records of research and working documents;
- Adhere to the required levels of confidentiality as set out in each client brief and on company confidential matters;
- Provide clients with robust well-considered valuations and reports
- Contribute to the periodic review of Team processes and procedures
- An advanced knowledge of the South African commercial property market and associated case law.
- Abide by the requirements of Continuing Professional Development as required by the SACPVP and contribute to shared knowledge within the team and the wider Group.
- Take a close interest in property and sector reports in the media to enhance your knowledge of the market.

**Personal skills profile**
- Qualifications/Education Required.A degree in Real Estate and/or a completed National Diploma in Property Valuations.

Registered with the SACPVP as a Professional Associated Valuer.
- Career Experience Required_

Minimum of five years full time working experience in Property Valuations in the private sector. This must include working with, and being competent in, the development, operation and analysis of Discounted Cashflow methodology and the use of MRI software or similar.
- Particular Aptitudes/Skills Required_
- The applicant must possess a strong work ethic
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to accept responsibility for all delegated work-related tasks
- Accuracy, attention to detail, an orderly approach to work and high numeracy skills.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- The commitment and determination to investigate thoroughly and seek out information necessary for the accurate valuation of propert
- Within 3 months, become proficient in the use of all valuation software in use by the Compa
- Have an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Driver’s license, passport, own vehicle and a willingness to travel throughout South Africa as well as occasionally cross-border into other African countries

- Not have been previously reported for unethical conduct to the SACPVP;
