**Purpose of the Position**:

- Managing all external and internal strategies, relations and networks in order to enhance the reputation and image of the Company.
- Strategically positioning the Company externally and internally through effective communication channels and structures.

**Qualifications**:

- Business Administration Degree /Similar
- Postgraduate Business Management Qualification.

**Experience**:

- 5 -10 years relevant experience Senior Management experience in the development and the implementation of Social and labour Plan(SLP) Corporate and communications strategies in a mining environment.
- Experience in reputation media management will be an advantage.
- Proven liaison experience in media, business, government, and civic networks/relationships.
- Knowledge and experience in mining compliance legislations e.g., Mining Charter, MPRDA regulations &B-BBEE codes of Good Practise.
- Strong strategy conceptualisation and implementation as well as excellent report writing, presentation skills and project management

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain the Companys Corporate image and identity.
- Identifying, establishing and managing strategic alliances with local communities, chiefs, relevant government officials and media representatives (Stakeholder engagements).
- Developing and implementing internal and external Strategic Communications framework aligned to the Companies vision and key objectives and values.
- Preparing appropriate speeches for company executives and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them.
- Collaborating with the marketing department to ensure maximum reach and exposure for all targeted marketed campaigns.
- Providing effective leadership and management of a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.
- Providing in-house written and editorial support to the CEO/President and executive Committee.
