- Oversee the Finished Goods Warehouse - Paint, Polish, Mono and LIDS
- Oversee the processing, picking, invoicing and dispatch of finished goods
- Oversee the Daily Distribution Report to ensure vehicle capacity utilization and timeous delivery of finished goods
- Work with the transport service provider to ensure vehicles are booked on time to achieve OTIF customer deliveries
- Audit the Vehicle Loading process on a weekly basis and report any findings to the Logistics Manager for continuous improvement
- Oversee the Reverse Logistics functions of returned RPM and RMA
- Align with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that credits for all returns RPM and RMA is processed accurately
- Oversee the process of receiving and uploading PODs
- Oversee the process of generating transporter POs for all local and line haul deliveries
- Ageing Stock Reports - Monitoring of stock levels and liaising with the sales team to avoid overstock
- Oversee the weekly cycle counts of all finished goods and manage the stock variance investigation and reconciliation process
- Oversee the Bi-Annual Stock take for all Finished Goods and returnable packaging material
- Manage operational costs within the warehouse
- Manage the transfer process of finished goods from PHA to the warehouse and report all issues to production and sales team on a daily basis
- Monitoring of stock levels and liaising with Manufacturing Plants/Inter branch and dispatch;
- Conducting regular and accurate stock counts on a daily, monthly and annual basis;
- Administration of warehouse & staff management
- Supervise and ensure adherence to HACCP Programs;
- Investigate and close audit findings;
- Attend Safety meetings;
- Conduct job observation and risk assessments.
- Ensuring that the department operates within the set budget and continuously seek ways to reduce operational costs.
- People management with particular focus on attendance, monitoring conduct and embedding the culture of adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Skills development and identification of key team members for career development.
- Maintaining high standards of Housekeeping and Safety.
- Ensuring that all supply chain requirements are met.**Inherent Requirements**
- Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate
- Diploma/Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent qualification
- Competencies:
- Excellent people management ability and a reasonable understanding of IR issues
- Have the ability to interact at all levels
- Above average technical ability
- Must have problem solving skills
- Strong leadership qualities as well as interpersonal skills
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years Stores Operations in a Supervisory role
- Must have 3 years inventory control experience
- Knowledge and Skills:
- Be computer literate - experience in JDE, Barcode, working knowledge of MS word; Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Have Analytical skills.
