Creditors Controller

As a credit controller, you will be responsible for collecting debts from our company debtors, evaluating new credit requests, ensuring timely payments of company debts and providing administrative support.
- Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments (Book value +/- R15 Million)
- Manage and control payment terms within agreed contract requirements
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors (DSO) Days Sales Outstanding
- Posting and allocating daily receipts to accounting systems (Syspro)
- Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Managing arrear accounts
- Debtors balancing and reconciliation
- Providing accounts information to internal departments
- Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant

**Qualification / Skills / Knowledge Required**
- Grade 12

Min 5 years debtors experience (local and foreign)
- ERP system experience, preferably Syspro
- Strong Computer skills - Word & Excel
- Previous experience within a Manufacturing/Engineering Environment beneficial
- Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Strong communication and problem solving abilities
- Experience with communicating with foreign personnel (beneficial)
- Ability to account for forex transactions and dealing with translation of foreign currencies - EUR, USD, AUD, CAD to Rand as well as AUD to EUR, USD, ZAR.
- Positive team player, able to accept change and adapt to new environments
- Ability to multi-task and achieve set goals & targets
