**Job Description**:
**MEDICAL EQUIPMENT **RENTA**L ASSISTANT**

**Overview**:The Rental Assistant will track, repair, clean and disinfect assets, to be pro-active in supply and assistance of medical equipment to the Rental Technicians.

**Duties**:
Laundry:
Receiving and dispatching of clean and dirty products from Rental Technicians

Managing the inflow and outflow of products

Report damages and/or abuse

Follow the decontamination process of cleaning products.

To inspect, test systems and identify items needed for replacement.

Washing, drying, assembly, testing and packaging of systems

Ensure corrective PPE and clothing attire is used when cleaning.

Test systems to fully operational standards before dispatching.

Operation of industrial dryer and washing machine

Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes.

In the field:
Safely transport rental equipment to customers' specified locations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicles and report any maintenance or safety issues.

Load and unload rental equipment and ensure items are securely protected from damage during transportation.

Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and rental agreements to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries.

Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.

Maintain accurate Installation & cancelation records.

Collaborate with the rental team to coordinate delivery schedules and prioritize deliveries.

Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Administrative Duties

Completing laundry tracking sheets and repair documents. Assist with completing Installation and cancellation forms when assisting field technicians.

**Requirements**:
Grade 12 / Matric

At least 2-3 years’ work experience

Valid driver’s license and 2 years’ experience in driving and maintaining a company vehicle.

Ability to work independently.

Must be available to work after hours during weekdays and on weekends.

Preference to Female applicants

**Remuneration**:
R6000 plus overtime
