To develop and oversee the implementation of organisational development solutions in support of HR’s strategic objectives.
Detailed Description
To develop policies, fit for purpose solutions, frameworks, standards, guidelines and tools in the areas of psychometric and competency-based assessments to address current and future business challenges.
- To drive and guide the implementation of organisational development frameworks, standards, processes, guidelines and tools through Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP’s).
- To develop and manage the implementation of SARB’s assessment framework and portfolio in line with the business requirements.
- To provide a data and insights driven assessment service across the HR value chain (i.e. strategic workforce planning (SWP), recruitment, development, career management, performance management, talent management) in support of strategic people decisions.
- To i ntegrate assessment insights into the SARB’s talent management approach: readiness levels and development plans.
- To continuously drive awareness of the ethical use of assessments in line with relevant legislation and SARB’s assessment approach.
- To provide professional assessment advice and support to the business and HRBP’s on matters pertaining to psychometric assessments.
- To take responsibility for c ompetency management within the SARB ensuring alignment with business requirements and integration into the human resources value chain (recruitment, development, succession management, etc.
- To administer assessments and provide assessment feedback where necessary.
- To manage key service providers relationships, and monitor performance against SLA and project objectives.
- To provide function specific reports and provide relevant insights based psychometric assessment data in support of strategic decision-making processes.
- To manage financial aspects of the project against budgets, analyse and report variances, and initiate corrective measures.
Job Requirements
A minimum of a four-year qualification in Industrial Psychology/Psychometry;
- Valid registration as an Industrial psychologist or Psychometrist (independent practice) with HPCSA is essential
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Organisational Development with at least three (3) years in a project leadership role

Additional requirements include:

- Experience in the development and administration of assessment centres
- Leadership assessments experience
- CPP or CPA accredited
- 16PF (and other personality assessments), various ability, cognitive, behavioural assessments experience.
