Business Development Representative

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team and drive our growth through new client acquisition.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Lead Generation & Prospecting**:
- Identify and source potential business clients across various industries who would benefit from our HR services.
- Research and qualify leads through online platforms, networking events, and industry contacts.
- Utilize tools such as LinkedIn, Apollo, and Lusha to gather information on prospects and decision-makers.
- Develop and maintain a consistent outreach strategy to increase engagement and conversion rates.
- Follow up on initial contact to build relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline.
**Sales Strategy & Execution**:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets for revenue and growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to the needs of each prospect.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
**Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their ongoing needs are met.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Collaborate with the HR service delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new clients.
**Market Research & Analysis**:
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitors’ activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyze and report on sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired results.
**CRM Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress using the company’s CRM system.
- Generate reports and provide insights on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasting.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within HR services or related fields.
- Strong understanding of payroll, recruitment, outsourcing, and HR consulting services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Apollo, Lusha).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
**Compensation**:
- This is a high commission-based role with an OTE (On-Target Earnings) of + R50,000.
- The role offers significant earning potential with uncapped commissions based on performance.
