**ROLE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION**

We strive to provide the best educational experience via engagement with a wide group of stakeholders in the pursuit of excellence.
Our Education Operations Team are responsible for the provision of student support services as well as provision of programmes to the student body, facilitating the programme leaders with maintaining and evolution of education platforms and content.
The Systems Administrator will be part of the Education Operations Team. They are the ‘go to person’ for systems and platforms in place, with particular emphasis on the Learner Management System, which is currently Moodle Workplace.
Other systems which will be within the remit of the Systems Administrator are Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365), and the Student Management System (CRM with integrations, powered by Salesforce). Additional platforms will also come within the role’s purvue over time.
The day to day running and management of these systems is critical to the efficient operations of Setanta College, and in maintaining the highest quality of delivery to the organisation, student body and faculty.
You will be expected to establish yourself as a trusted and reliable team member.
A creative thinker, you will be required to be both proactive and responsive when it comes to providing the services outlined below

**Key Qualities**
- Ability to Communicate and Collaborate. Strong communication skills are essential.
- Advanced Technical Expertise in cloud-based content hosting.
- Advance Technical Expertise in Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
- Flexibility and Problem Solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of project management

- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external
- Previous experience within similar systems setups desirable.
- Third-level qualification in systems administration and/or information technology support desirable
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain Setanta College LMS system, and its hosting of content.
- Student Support queries regarding LMS content
- Faculty support regarding LMS content
- Contact for third-party suppliers/support of any elements pertaining to LMS system
- Systems Support for Setanta College Microsoft 365 systems, including Office 365, Sharepoint, Teams and Yammer
- Systems Support for Setanta College online sales processing platform (Active Campaign, Pardot)
- IT Support assistance on OS, Windows systems, plus all software licensed to Setanta
- Maintenance and administration of systems and practices around data storage and backing up
- Execution and maintenance of IT Security policies and practices
- Support maintenance and administration of Student Management System and Portal.
- Maintenance and cataloguing of IT equipment used by the Setanta business
- Assistance of Student Services with online content-based duties such as processing of transcripts, maintenance of course marking
- Assistance to Student Services and Faculty with administration of Turnitin processes
- Assistance to Student Services and Faculty with administration of Gradebook
**Additional**
On occasion, there may be a requirement to work outside of normal officer hours or even weekends.
There may also be, at times, a requirement for additional duties assigned to be undertaken outside of role described.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: R17,500.00 - R20,000.00 per month
