**Purpose of the job**:
Responsible for diagnostic, repairs and sales of medical equipment.

**Education & Skills**:

- Grade 12.
- Relevant BTech qualification would be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Biomedical Technician/engineer and Sales and Marketing experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair & Diagnostic - Exceptional knowledge of the structure and uses of biomedical equipment.

Strong technical skills and the ability to repair equipment with meticulous attention to detail.

Performing routine maintenance checks on biomedical equipment through testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting.

Installing new biomedical equipment and adjusting the device according to manufacturer’ s medical equipment specifications.

Training equipment users to operate and care for equipment with physical demonstrations and educational presentations.

Updating the inventory, placing orders, and verifying deliveries.

Repairing faulty medical equipment on a routine basis and attending to emergency device failures reported by users and repair as needed.

Keeping a digital record of equipment repairs, faulty components, and recalibrated devices.

Ensuring that all equipment adhere to safety and quality standards and is in compliance with relevant laws.
- Customer service - To effectively manage customer expectation and be resolution driven and customer focused when resolving queries and client complaints

Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Operations - Confirm picking slips / orders as per the company SOP.
- Customer Analysis - Manage accounts services through quality checks and other follow up.

Perform cost - benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.

Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
