Programme Accreditations Coordinator

SACAP is looking for a Programme Accreditations Coordinator for a new higher education venture. This role will suit someone who is keen to join a start-up type of environment and grow with it; someone who can work autonomously, with agility in an unstructured and ambiguous environment to help create clarity.

**New Programme Feasibility/Exploratory Research**
- Communicates with key stakeholders to verify that all projects and tasks are on schedule and are completed within the set timeframes.
- Prepares and presents proposal documents that demonstrate the feasibility of new programmes, recommendations and future opportunities.
- Forms good working relationships with various key stakeholders throughout the organisation.

**New Programme Accreditation**

Overall administration and coordination of new programme accreditation projects including the initiation, planning, executing, monitoring and closing of new programme accreditation projects across various disciplines.

**Programme Collation and Submission**
- Stays abreast of all aspects of the regulatory submission processes.
- Identifies where the gaps in information are, highlights and resolves these.
- Drafts and administrates regulatory communication as needed.

**General**:

- Report generation; Presentations; Conduct desk research and potentially market research; Attend workshops, conferences etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of a Master’s degree
- Depth and breadth of experience in regulatory management, quality assurance, learning design and curriculum development advantageous.
- Furthermore, experience in online/distance higher education is an added advantage.

**SKILL**
- Technologically strong and willing to leverage and incorporate new technologies and artificial intelligence.
- Understanding of the higher education landscape.
- Excellent at administration and organisation of information.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management.

- Experience in learning design and/or curriculum development.

The role will report directly to the Deputy Dean: Institutional Planning and Regulatory Compliance.

**Operating Hours**

This is a full-time position operating from Mondays to Fridays*:
Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00

Friday: 08:30 - 16:00
- Due to the nature of this role, there will be a need to work flexible hours to the extent to _which it is reasonably necessary to perform the duties of the position._
