**Role Overview**:
As a Claims Administrator at Shackleton Life, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to providing support and assistance to our senior Claims Administrator for our diverse range of insurance products.
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of six months relevant experience, coupled with a genuine passion for investigating and conducting thorough research to process claims efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Investigation: Conduct comprehensive investigations into claims, gathering and analysing relevant information to determine coverage and liability.
Communication: Liaise with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders to gather necessary details and documents, providing updates on claim status throughout the process.
Documentation: Maintain meticulous records, ensuring all claim-related information is properly documented and stored in compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as underwriting, legal, and customer service to ensure a seamless claims resolution process.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to the improvement of claims handling procedures.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
Minimum of six months experience in claims administration within the long term and short term insurance industry.
Strong investigative and research skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to interpret insurance policies, regulations, and legal documents.
Proficient in using relevant software and tools for claims management.
A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle a high volume of claims efficiently.
