The position is suitable for hybrid work.
Our client, a mid-sized direct sales company and a well-established household name has been proudly contributing to South Africa for over 50 years. A job opportunity exists for an Accounts Administrator in the Finance Department at the Support Centre in Century City. The position reports to the Financial Manager. The role will suit a proactive go getter who is eager to hit the ground running.
**Key purpose of the role**:
To support the ability of the business to provide service and support to customers, consultants and employees by administering payroll and administering accounts payable, as well as undertaking administrative tasks related to HR.
**Key Requirements**
- Matric
- N Certificates or Short courses in bookkeeping up to trial balance or HR Admin (including payroll processing)
- 3+ years processing payroll
- 3+ years in a creditor’s clerk/administrator role, including journals, up to trial balance.
- Exposure to HR Admin & Benefits
- Exposure to payroll systems e.g., BCX, Sage, VIP, PeopleSoft etc.
**Preferred Requirements**
- NDip Commercial Administration/Business Management/ HR or similar
- Syspro experience
- Solid experience in accounts, payroll & employee admin & benefits
The role requires a methodical and systematic worker, with a flair for figures. In addition, you are computer literate, an honest, ethical and reliable individual who is able to think quickly on your feet. You are able to work independently and without supervision under an often pressurised workload.
This role is available for hybrid working once trained on internal systems and procedures.

**Salary**: R12,500.00 - R15,000.00 per month

- High School (matric) (required)

- processing payroll: 3 years (preferred)
