**The Opportunity**

This position works out of our Johannesburg location in the Abbott Core Diagnostics Division. In this division we’re empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.

Strategic Pricing Manager

**What You’ll Do**
- Maintain pricing tools.
- Monitor contract compliance.
- Communicate and help implement price changes in the system.
- Monitor and update pricelists in line with contracts and SAP.
- Assists with preparing proposals/bids and negotiating contracts in response to sales opportunities.
- Provide quotes for pricing in line with master price file.
- Validates sales quotations for accuracy and profitability.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, economics or related analytical discipline
- Computer and MS Excel Skills (intermediary to advanced).
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.

- Analytical skills
