A medical practice based in Nelspruit is seeking to employ a Front Desk Administrator to attend to overall front desk duties performed in a medical practice.

The following requirements are prerequisite to be considered for the position:
**Description of tasks**:
1. Administration and coordination of all patients of the practice

Monitor and accurately document all patient information and related functions required by the medical practice.

Coordinate interactions between the practice, patients and other stakeholders.

Compile all necessary information for before and after interactions with patients.

2. Administration support for other patient management functions in the practice

a) Administer documents and check for compliance in line with the required practice’s standard (formatting etc.) for patient medical information necessary for admin

b) Monitor outgoing and incoming documentations and monitor compliance as outlined by the practice in line with medical aids or other statutory bodies

d) Coordinate and consolidate monthly, quarterly, income and expenses reports within the practice

e) Keep records and ensure that they are easily accessible within the practice as and when they are required

**Competency requirements**:
**1. Knowledge**:
Office administration practices and procedures.

Advanced use of word processing, spreadsheet and other software to create documents and materials requiring the interpretation and manipulation of data.

d) Knowledge of medical practice or similar is an advantage

**2. Skills**:
a) Written and verbal communication skills

b) Report writing skills

c) Coordination cross functional departments

d) Computer literacy and information management systems

a) Planning and organizing

e) Accurate record keeping

- Team player
- Proactive and innovative
- Above average attention to detail

**Experience**

At least 5 years of experience in administration with

Certificate / Diploma or higher will be an advantage

Administrative functions in a medical practice environment working with patient information and accurate record keeping

**Salary**:
Negotiable depending on experience

**Workplace**

Nelspruit or Witbank

**Salary**: R4,500.00 - R8,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nelspruit, Mpumalanga: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
