**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Group Head of Finance will be responsible but not limited to retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to drive key financial KPIS while preventing. They need to take ownership of the financial management of the Silversoft Group and will focus on the establishment of long-term financial health and growth by implementing a finance team structure and processes to support the growth of the company and Business Strategies.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Duties Include (but not limited to)
- Develop and implement financial goals and objectives to support the company's overall growth and success. Improve or change current practices to increase efficiency and align to these objectives.
- Work with the directors to enhance management reporting across the business including non-financial measures.
- Review and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results. Including analysis and commentary.
- Manage the finance team to optimise the full Revenue lifecycle, including SaaS-specific financial metrics, license recurring revenue schedules & billing, and industry specific KPIs.
- Work closely with all related business units to ensure the business achieves its financial goals and drives optimal growth while retaining control and visibility throughout its processes.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage financial and operational budgets, including forecasting and analysis.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, legal and financial institution along with the management of the Deltek financial relationship as a creditor to Silversoft.
- Management of the foreign exchange exposure.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices related to software licensing and use this knowledge to drive improvements in the company's software licensing strategy and processes.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completed Honours degree in finance or a related field.
- Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA Professional Qualification

**EXPERIENCE**
- 5 -7 years' post articles experience in a Financial Management or senior finance role.
- Experience in SaaS, cloud software, ERP management would be advantageous.
- Thorough understanding of financial management within a group structure, multi-national experience would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in accounting software & excel.
- Proficiency in advanced financial reporting.
