Receptionist (Beauty Industry Knowledge)

Receptionist with experience working in a beauty salon for a well-established day spa in Douglasdale

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 3 years reception experience in a professional beauty salon environment
- Knowledge of ALL Beauty Treatments e.g Massages, Facials, Waxing, Manicures & Pedicures, etc
- Must be confident, very well-spoken, and well presented
- Strong command of English (written and oral)
- Be a team player, have good customer relations skills
- Be deadline and target driven
- Computer literate with a good understanding of Salon, POS systems and Microsoft products
- Valid Driver’s License and own transport is an advantage.
- Preference will be given to applicants who live in or around Fourways
- Strong sense of responsibility and professional presentation

**Responsibilities**
- Provide customers with an excellent salon experience
- Report on, and provide feedback to, customers' queries, complaints and compliments
- Keep abreast of new products and treatments/service techniques
- Manage stock levels according to the Salon's needs
- Ensure all relevant equipment is operational and sanitary at all times
- Manage appointments and calendars
- Maintain excellent customer service
- Act as the first point of contact for customers.
- Contribute towards in house promotions and activities
- Interface with spa owners to set standards for service quality, customer satisfaction, financial performance, personnel issues, and the condition of spa facilities
- Facilitate smooth workflow by ensuring that employees/team members have what they need to operate at peak efficiency
- Ensure that spa clients are satisfied with services and products
- Oversee the condition of the spa, its facilities and equipment

- Douglasdale, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
